Motorists are quite rightly concerned by the number of potholes in and around Ormskirk, Aughton and Burscough but there's a far larger transport problem LCC's being trying to get to grips with down the years - moss roads.

It's committed another £722,000 to repair them - a drop in the ocean given the problems they pose as QLocal Ormskirk reporter Roger Blaxall discovered recently on Wyke Lane, the moss road from Scarisbrick into Churchtown...
